In our unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life for dogs in our community, Texas Round Up Animal Alliance (TRUAA) is proud to host our largest event and fundraiser of the year: Saddle Up for Strays.

Join us for an unforgettable evening of music, good eats, and giving back—all to support our lifesaving mission: rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming at-risk dogs in Kerr County and surrounding areas.

Why We Fundraise

TRUAA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill dog rescue located in the Texas Hill Country of Center Point. We are entirely funded by individual donations, grants, and community fundraisers like this one.

Our Mission:

We are dedicated to rescuing dogs from euthanasia, restoring them through compassionate care and veterinary support, empowering them to become their best selves, and placing them in loving homes that understand and meet their individual needs.

Since 2018, we’ve saved over 400 dogs, most from high-risk situations in overcrowded local shelters.

For dogs needing extra support—whether it's behavioral training, confidence building, or socialization—our Paws in Progress rehabilitation program provides the structure, patience, and care they need to become happy, well-adjusted companions.

• Chuckwagon Dinner by Guadalupe Red & The Calf Fries: Experience the authentic flavors of the Old West with a traditional chuckwagon dinner—just like the cowboys cooked on cattle drives. Featuring open-fire cooking and a live demonstration by Guadalupe Red himself!
